JOB SUMMARY
The Colleague Care Representative performs a variety of specialized, responsible and confidential functions in the areas of payroll, benefit and HR policy administration. All functions are necessary to ensure timely and accurate payroll and benefit processing for the corporation. This role must demonstrate knowledge and application of payroll and benefit administration principles, methods and practices, including financial entries and report creation and generation. Acts as the first point of contact with all Associated colleagues, to research and resolve payroll, benefit and HR policy questions. Must perform all duties to meet strict deadlines and HR performance metrics.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesnt meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associateds anonymous Ethics Hotline.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Payroll
1. Performs HR system entries for all non-Executive colleagues to ensure accurate and timely payment to colleagues.
2. Audits payroll entries made by other Colleague Care Representative.
3. Resolves routine payroll issues.
4. Process and track manual checks as requested by Human Resources or Legal.
5. Maintain accurate payroll records and colleague files.
6. Verify employment eligibility for all new hires.
7. Create routine reports from HRIS system. Submits payroll data files to internal departments.

Benefits
1. Perform all activities to effectively administer all benefit plans including: eligibility reporting, enrollment changes, qualified life events, annual open enrollment, terminations and retirements.
2. Audits benefit entries made by other Colleague Care Representatives.
3. Resolves routine benefit issues by partnering with Trust, AFG, vendor contacts and internal Benefits management.
4. Processes payments to colleagues for fringe benefit programs such as external education and computer reimbursement.

Service/Other
1. Supports and implements operational process changes and initiatives, including creating and/or updating procedures to reflect changes.
2. Answers colleague questions via the Colleague Care call center and centralized mail box. Provides warm transfer to other areas within Associated and refers to external vendors as appropriate.
3. Demonstrates and lives the Associated brand and HR service principles in each colleague interaction.
4. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
Associate or Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance or business

Preferred Education
Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance or business

Minimum Experience
2 years Human Resources experience with a focus on payroll or benefits administration.

Preferred Experience
2+ years payroll and benefits administration experience.

Special Skill Requirements Computer Skills/Licensing/Certifications/Bonding
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and HRIS systems

Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Adherence to Company policy and procedures is required.
Perform duties in accordance with the Vision & Values of Associated Banc-Corp.
Regular attendance is required.
Advanced math and reading skills, with strong attention to detail.
Use of basic office equipment (e.g., photocopier, voice mail, "fax" machine, calculator, multiple line telephones, typewriter, computers etc.).
Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.
