JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of strategic technology projects independently. The position will have a primary focus to serve as the point of contact for all parties including the business lines, management, team members and vendors. The Senior Project Manager follows the standards, methodologies, policies and processes established by the EPMO and Operations and Technology PMO in regards to communication and issue resolution as well as accountability for all aspects of project delivery. The Senior Project Manager may have direct reports.

The project manager role requires an individual who has depth within several of the following disciplines: leadership skills, self motivated, detail oriented, ability to handle multiple projects, ability to problem solve and bring resolution.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesnt meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associateds anonymous Ethics Hotline.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Provides direction and coordination through the life cycle of project(s) to include planning, estimating, execution, implementation, tracking and support. Manages and directs appropriate resources to ensure understanding of deadlines, assignments and objectives. Acts as the point of contact. Delegates and ensures final results meet objectives.

2. Facilitate and lead teams on the successful execution and implementation of strategic technology projects.

3. Controls projects through the use of project plans and charters to adhere to the triple constraints: Time (schedule), Resources (people and financial) and Scope

4. Follow EPO and PMO project management methodology which includes, but is not limited to: Security review, Requirements, Risk, Testing, Architecture and design, Production readiness

5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on key applications as needed.

6. Develop detailed project plans, as well as manage and transparently report on progress status against the plans, to ensure timely completion of special project assignments that vary in scope and level of responsibility while quickly adapting to changing requirements.

7. Oversees the ongoing review of projects(s) status; identifies risks and developments, recommends and implements solutions as appropriate. Ensures alignment to strategic priorities.

8. Demonstrated ability to methodically plan, analyze and schedule multiple interrelated tasks and / or initiatives based upon their strategic value, scope, schedule and resource requirements.

9. Define and oversee required research and analytical tasks to define project requirements, achieve project objectives, acquire data, and ensure high quality execution

10. Review vendor contracts in conjunction with legal counsel

11. Analyze technology requests for feasibility and cost benefit.

12. Participate in vendor selection.

Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in project management

Preferred Education
Masters degree in Business/IT and PMP Certification

Minimum Experience
8 years of experience in the financial services industry with 8 years in project management.

Preferred Experience
10 years of experience in the financial services industry with 10+ years in project management.

Special Skill Requirements Computer Skills/Licensing/Certifications/Bonding
Project Management Certification or other work equivalent
Change leadership or other project management competency

Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Adherence to Company policy and procedures is required.
Perform duties in accordance with the Vision & Values of Associated Banc-Corp.
Regular attendance is required.
Basic math and reading skills, and attention to detail.
Use of basic office equipment (e.g., photocopier, voice mail, "fax" machine, calculator, multiple line telephones, typewriter, computers etc.).
Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.
