Job Description:
This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the banks' ITS Disaster Recovery plan, including the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and test plans for ensuring the resiliency and integrity of all computer based systems and networks across all technical platforms. Will work closely with other IT groups in developing the overall plan and the execution of regularly scheduled testing. Serves as member of the banks' Continuity Committee, contributes to the development of business impact analyses to assess application recovery requirements and recommends resiliency strategies. Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations associated with Disaster Recovery requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Facilitates the Disaster Recovery review process for third party hosting and external supplier relationships. Coordinates the Disaster Recovery Testing and manages related projects including development of project plans, coordination of activities, monitoring of progress, report status and presenting recommendations to management. Also participates in the assessment of new and existing systems and applications and monitors events that may cause potential company impact, including world and local news, weather updates, and ITS activities.
We require at least a Bachelors Degree in a technology related field, or equivalent experience. Strong preference for a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, emergency management, or disaster recovery. A business continuity or emergency management professional certification is desirable ((CBCP, MBCP, CFCP, of FBCI). We require at least five years of technology related experience, with at least two years of previous disaster recovery planning experience. Previous knowledge of Strohl Systems' LDRPS and BIA Professional is preferred. We require strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative and innovative solutions, excellent project management abilities, and good communication skills.
