Job Description:
This position consist of supervising and educating children while the permanent teachers are on break. The hours are between 10am-4pm. If desired on both parts, this could lead to a permanent full time position. The children are divided into age groups between the ages of infant to 5 year olds. To qualify you must: enjoy interacting with young children and understand how they think, behave and learn. You must also understand the importance of team-work between parents and staff as well set an excellent example by being calm, sensitive and thoughtful to adults and children alike. You must also complete all required HRS training 45 hours and updates including CPR and First Aid. This does not have to be completed prior to hire but certificates of completion will need to be given to the Director. The ideal person for this position is to consider this job a ministry and strives to promote an attitude of love and compassion for all the children and their families.
Compensation/Benefits:
Hourly rate is dependent on experience and certifications; however, it will be between $6.50-$8.50 hr.
