Job Summary:
The Villages, FL-The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the office. With overall responsibility for new business processing for the office, the Sales Assistant must be able to work effectively with other staff members, clients, and the Representatives. You need your Series 6 or 7 license, excellent knowledge of the securities industry's rules & regulations.
Ability to effectively function as a team player. In this position you will:
* Handle new business.
* Meets with clients and starts new client forms processing.
* Ensures timely approval and submittal of new business.
* Follows up with product sponsors weekly and/or as needed to make sure paperwork is received and being processed.
* Communicate status of new business to clients.
* Monitor and track new business submitted.
* Prepare client updates and reviews as needed.
* Complete client service work after contract issue as needed.
* Mentor and train other Sales Assistants.
