Staff Accountant
Job Location: Ocala, Florida
Job Description:
Growing healthcare facility is seeking an experience accounting individual to work in their office. In this position you would apply principles of accounting and statistical analysis to maintain the accounting system for numerous corporations with markedly different business lines and prepares financial and operating reports from statistical, financial and operating data. You would analyze data and prepare internal financial reports and statements consistent with recognized accounting standards as well as the goals of the business and tasks set forth for the Staff Accountant.
In this position you need a Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or similar degree and at least 1 year experience of related experience. If you have an Associate Degree you will need at least 3 years accounting experience. Computer proficiency in spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, word processing software such as Microsoft Word (preferred). Familiarity with Microsoft Access or similar database software is preferred but not required. Healthcare accounting experience is preferred as well.
