Job Description:
An anatomic pathology laboratory which is growing tremendously, is seeking to hire several Laboratory Technicians within their surgical and anatomic histology department. In this position you would operate the VIP Tissue Processor, Leica Slide Stainer, Sakura Cover-Slipper, Sakura Embedding Station, TBD Cassette Labeler and the TBS Slide. Experience with some or all of these operations is a help. This laboratory offers a wonderful growth opportunity for the right person.

You need: NY State License; Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis on medicine, biology or related. ; Minimum six (6) months prior experience as a histology Lab aide with surgical pathology emphasis; Prior experience in a medical lab or related environment. Must be able to work with hazardous chemicals. Working knowledge of computers and programs. Good clerical skills.
