Position Summary
Provide patient care and perform CT/diagnostic radiological studies. Acts as a problem solving leader and organizer, by communicating well with staff. Must be able to perform work independently.

1. Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
2. Completion of CT training (structured or on the job)

Knowledge, Skill and Ability
1. Must have intricate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and a basic understanding of human physiology.
2. Ability to problem solve.
3. Able to adapt exam routines and techniques when necessary to optimize quality of exams.
4. Good interpersonal communication skills.
5. Ability to work closely with radiologists and other physicians.
6. Must have moderate computer and organizational skills.
7. Ability to handle stress.
8. Ability to perform venipuncture.
9. Knowledge of sterile preparations and procedures.
10. Experience
11. Registered according to Boulder Community Hospital Imaging policy.
12. Prefer one-year experience in field at Boulder Community Hospital.

5. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to constantly stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to stoop, crouch and twist. The employee is occasionally required to kneel, squat and sit.
6. The employee must be able to consistently support, push, pull and/or lift up to 10 pounds, frequently support, push, pull and/or lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally support, push, pull and/or transfer up to 50 pounds (for example, moving a patient from a wheelchair to a bed).
7. Functional physical demands include manual dexterity, fine motor skills and reaching.
