Job Summary Precision Technologies, a division of Benchmark Electronics, Inc. Precision Technologies Tempe has an extensive capability in mechanical manufacturing. Our customers are leading Original Equipment Manufacturers who require exacting precision mechanical production capabilities. Our product lines include the, Aerospace, Healthcare Scientific Instrumentation and complex electro-mechanical equipment. Our Capabilities Include: Precision CNC 5-Axis Milling and Turning Precision 5-Axis Grinding of Aerospace Turbine Engine Nozzles and Blades Close Tolerance (Micron level) Instrumentation Grinding Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) NADCAP approved Complex Electro-Mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room) Functional testing Medium to Large Coordinate Measuring Capabilities Our Precision Technologies Division in Tmepe, AZ is looking for a Test Technician that has the drive, integrity, knowledge, education, determination, experience, and ability to help drive our success. Essential Functions and Competencies Able to become proficient in debug techniques on electronic assemblies/subassemblies in a manufacturing environment involving Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) Demonstrates basic analytical skills Basic understanding of Test Measurement and Debug Techniques Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as, presentation skills Effective interpersonal skills Effective multitask skills and ability to take on additional responsibilities as required Effective organization and prioritization skills Demonstrates high attention to detail Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when representing the company Works with diverse groups Supports a 24/7 global business operation as required Able to work overtime when needed Participates in a continuous improvement activity Demonstrates the ability to use a volt meter, power supply, and oscilloscope Qualifications / Education / Experience Performs debug and test of assemblies as able to component level utilizing block diagrams and schematics. Performs tester maintenance and upkeep. Aids operator in troubleshooting problems as able. Training and ongoing support to the Test operators. Communicates problems to proper senior Test Technician, Test Engineer and/or leader. Develop skills and knowledge with test platform(s). Complies with quality assurance policies and methodologies; develops and strong quality orientation. Maintains a clean, safe, work environment and follow all published/posted safety standards (daily use of ESD and safety protective devices: eye protection, smock, and foot straps).
3+ years experience in electronic diagnosis experience
