Job Summary As liason between Benchmark and assigned customer programs, will interface to achieve high customer satisfaction, profitable business relationships, developing sales growth with new and existing customers, and providing strong team leadership of the customers teams to ensure internal and external customers needs are met. Essential Functions and Competencies Effective organization and prioritization skills. Works collaboratively with both innternal and external customers using direction and oversight. Must demonstrated effective interpersonal skills. Must be willing and able to take on project leadership/ownership. Completes projects in a timely manner. Supports a 24/7 global business operation as required. Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism when representing the company. Must have excellent written and verbal communication, as well as, presentation skills. Works well individually or in teams. Understands and uses continuous improvement tools. Available for travel up to 10% of the time, including day, overnight and international travel as required. Participates in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format. Qualifications / Education / Experience Assists in managing and leading customer team activities as primary day-to-day customer contact. Coordinates and maximizes the use of company functions in support of customer requirements. Supports new product introduction activity including cost, pricing, and prototype activity. Works with customer(s), materials, and operations to manage build and delivery schedule. Provides customer forecast information to master scheduling and to management for revenue and manpower planning. Supports quality, test, Engineering Change Order (ECO), materials and depot activity. Recovers costs for ECO activity, Non-Recurring Expenses (NRE) and miscellaneous. Resolves excess/obsolete inventory issues. Assists in resolving Accounts Receivable (A/R) issues as required. Assists in preparation to negotiate, manage, and update contracts. Communicates effectively with customer(s) and within factory. Leads, or assists in leading, business review meetings with BEI and customer. Seeks additional sales opportunities within customer(s). Review and disposition nonconforming product per quality standards. Manages and leads customers teams activities as primary day-to-day customer contact. Manages multiple team tasks to include but not limited to continuous improvement programs, business analysis, quoting and pricing, contract reviews, change management, on-time delivery, inventory, and forecasting. Supports management team as needed with building customers relationships and business development, with forecasting and pricing strategies, with ensuring profitability, and with meeting business unit objectives. Provides centralized management over all business and technical aspects of a customer accounts. Manages customers concerns, corrective actions, and leads issues to completion. Develops an understanding of DFx philosophy and promotes it with customers and within the customer team. Provides customers with written corrective action to escalated issues. Works with Materials/Procurement to establish internal goals for annual inventory turns and reports actual turns regularly. Leads end of life program management to meet BEI and customer goals pertaining to product availability and component material planning, including working with engineering to determine alternate component solutions. Assists other team members as needed to ensure customers needs are met.
5+ years program management experience, preferrably in an electronics or contract manufacturing environment. Experience in leadership roles and management of large customer accounts a definite plus.
4 year business, finance or technical degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management may be considered. Job Category Sales Job Location Huntsville, AL, USA
