Job Summary
Precision Technologies, a division of Benchmark Electronics, Inc. Precision Technologies Tempe has an extensive capability in mechanical manufacturing. Our customers are leading Original Equipment Manufacturers who require exacting precision mechanical production capabilities. Our product lines include the, Aerospace, Healthcare Scientific Instrumentation and complex electro-mechanical equipment. Our Capabilities Include: Precision CNC 5-Axis Milling and Turning Precision 5-Axis Grinding of Aerospace Turbine Engine Nozzles and Blades Close Tolerance (Micron level) Instrumentation Grinding Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) NADCAP approved Complex Electro-Mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room) Functional testing Medium to Large Coordinate Measuring Capabilities This factory is a strategic site of the Precision Technologies Group and is highly integrated with other sites in North America and Asia. The primary requirements for this position is to Install and remove mechanical and electrical components in assemblies and sub-assemblies. May troubleshoot failed assemblies to determine corrective action.

Essential Functions and Competencies
Learns and masters all tasks associated with product assembly that are assigned Mechanical and electrical aptitude including circuits and general tools, electric static discharge (ESD), torque and strain mechanical properties and understanding of fluid and pneumatic systems Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required Identifies assembly non-conformance and performs corrective actions Effective communication, both verbal and written Responds to written and verbal instructions Able to work overtime as needed Obtain and renew certifications on assigned equipment and be willing to cross-train in other areas Participates in a continuous improvement activity Able to handle multiple and changing priorities Multi-skilled and/or possesses specialized knowledge Competent with reading and understanding of blueprints

Qualifications / Education / Experience
Uses hand tools, working in a team with other assemblers and support departments to ensure products timely completion with high quality standards Performs inspection of own work in immediate work area Maintains adequate supplies and a neat and orderly work area Maintains tools and equipment in proper working order Maintains the security and confidentiality of or customers products and documentation May become involved with product testing Participates in providing timely feedback to other operations as appropriate Is cross-trained in all operations and/or is a specialist in at least one of the more involved processes Able to use a wide variety of tooling Works with moderately complex processes and more difficult customers expectations- able to use more independent judgment with some oversight by supervision Works with more complex product testing Serves as a mentor to lesser skilled employees

3-10 years working with all processes or a specialized knowledge in one or more processes.

High School Diploma or GED; ability to read, write, perform basic-intermediate math; ability to perform moderate-complex placement and testing.
