JOB SUMMARY
Support PeaceHealth marketing and communications initiatives by providing assistance with media relations efforts, as needed; support and assist with internal and external communications and marketing materials as appropriate; assist with the organization of special events and sponsorship activities; post to PeaceHealth social media sites as needed; responsible for web site content updates; collaborate with key stakeholders and foster strong, trusting relationships with clients; effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously; ensure adherence to PeaceHealth brand standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Serve as a media liaison as needed; follows through on media requests; assists in the coordination on press releases and public service announcements;
2. Support and assist in the development and distribution of internal communications and marketing materials including newsletters, collateral materials, presentations, etc.
3. Assist in the development of communications and marketing materials by using approved templates and customizing content and images for appropriate market localization.
4. Maintain and communicate graphic standards for the Network/entity with internal and external stakeholders; including education to other departments on the appropriate application of standards.
5. Update Network/entity pages on PeaceHealth web properties (Intranet and Internet) and social media sites in collaboration with key stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate placement of material materials, advertising placement and reproduction quality, new provider promotion efforts.
7. Support local caregiver and provider engagement efforts by supporting recognition events, internal and external communication efforts
8. Assist in the management of localized photography, videography, printers, and other external vendor services resources as needed.
9. Assist Communications and Marketing leadership with budget tracking and management; provide reports as directed. Provide administrative support to the Communications and Marketing Team.
10 Assist in the planning and producing of special events, internal and external communication activities and programs.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
? Associates degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field or a combination of education and experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job that is required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
? Minimum of two years' experience required in public relations/marketing/communications setting with emphasis on writing, editing, proofreading, publication development and customer interaction.
** This is a part time position; 5 days/week with some flexibility on hours.**

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
OTHER SKILLS:
? Solid understanding of marketing applications in a health care provider setting
? Proficient with computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
? Proficient writing skills to communicate to internal and external customers and assist with copy writing as needed
? Proven ability to synthesize multi-source data into actionable information
? Excellent communication skills including writing and presenting using computer based applications
? Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in an effective manner
? Ability to deal with complex organizational environments; high tolerance for ambiguity and change
? High level of project management and organizational skills
? Ability to establish credibility and forge lasting relationships with stakeholders
? Ability to garner support and engagement within the across stakeholder groups, both internal and external
