Senior Compensation Analyst
Job Location: Houston, TX
Description:
A dynamic Houston based firm is seeking a top-quality Senior Compensation Analyst. Would you like to partner in the development and implementation of a robust compensation program?
If so, my client is currently looking for an individual who can:
- Conduct market pricing and internal equity studies by matching jobs and analyzing compensation surveys to make appropriate recommendations.
- Be a key contributor to the implementation of enterprise compensation planning systems.
- Help in the complete design of a robust compensation infrastructure.
- Develop metrics and analytics for senior management reporting.
- Analyze non-qualified deferred compensation plans and other compensation plans.
- Determine FLSA job classification and formal grade range assignment for all jobs by performing job analysis and applying job evaluation methodology.
- Review salary and job issues for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices. Review existing and statutory requirements governing compensation administration.
The ideal candidate will be able to leverage technology into compensation processes, have a good understanding of incentive pay and sales compensation plans, and be able to establish a consultative relationship with field and corporate staff.
Additionally, candidates will posses:
- Bachelors' degree
- Minimum of four years compensation specific experience, functional HR experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new software and/or reporting tools; proficiency in using PeopleSoft report tools preferred
- Flexibility to travel up to 10%
- CCP certification is desirable
