Job Description:
The company is in the REIT industry with major markets in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Pacific Northwest and Northern and Southern California.
The appropriate candidate will have be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing strategies, leading sourcing initiatives and establishing agreements that contribute to business objectives.
The candidate must possess market intelligence and knowledge and experience in strategic sourcing/procurement of assigned categories, specifically in professional services and corporate functions. The candidate must also have the skills to work with senior management in various business unites and functions, understand the business needs, perform critical analysis, define opportunities, formulate strategies, lead sourcing initiatives, conduct effective negotiations and manage supplier performance/relationship in a team environment.'
Experience in corporate functions and real estate development, construction and management industry are desirable. This position will have significant spend and for implementing programs to contribute towards financial performance of the company through cost reductions, service improvements, best practices, and risk management.
Bachelors Degree required. Higher education preferred. 10+ years experience in strategic sourcing/procurement and outstanding analytical, organizational, communication and collaborative change management skills.

Compensation: $115,000 to $130,000 with bonus from $20,000 to $30,000
