Speech Language Pathologist
Job Location: North Carolina; Ohio; Georgia
Job Description:
We are seeking out a Speech Language Pathologist that will perform evaluation procedures for inpatients, outpatients, residents of
long-term care facilities and home care. They will Develop and implement treatment plans and plans for patient discharge. All documentation and relevant paperwork must be completed accurately and in a timely manner. Performs other related duties as required.
This person must have Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology and at least one year experience as a Speech Therapist in a clinical setting and must maintain ASHA certification and N.C. licensure. Will consider CFU candidates. They must also have Knowledge, skills and abilities to provide speech therapy to patients with chronic or acute illness or injury appropriate to the age of the patient. Must function well independently. Knowledge of sign language helpful. Possesses skills necessary to perform modified barium swallow studies in conjunction with a Radiologist. Knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and patient’s status and interprets the information to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age and specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the Policy/Procedure manual.
