Geologist
Job Location: Texas
Job Description:
This Geologist position is responsible for acquiring and analyzing subsurface and surface geologic data to provide management sound recommendations for field development and exploration projects. Candidate must utilize large volumes of subsurface and production data to analyze field performance generate maps and displays and provide support to reservoir engineering function. Duties include geologic and production mapping, gas in place analysis, well recommendation and log analysis.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Geology or Geologic Sciences
- 5 yrs minimum experience as a Petroleum Geologist
- Experience in log analysis and geologic mapping applications
- Accomplished in the use of Excel, Power Pt. and MS Word
- Unconventional Resource experience a plus
