Senior ASIC Design Engineer
Position Description:
Definition, design, verification, and documentation for Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) development. Determine logic design and system simulation, define module interfaces and formats for simulation. Develop multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use. Analyze equipment to establish operational data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results. Execute released design tools and flows as well as develop utilities and methods of improving design flows. May be assigned to various projects utilizing skills.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related degree, followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in job offered or a related ASIC design and applications occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
Experience and/or education must include:
1) ASIC design tool (Magma, Verilog, Synopsys DC & PT and VHDL);
2) FPGA implementation;
