Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma or GED
* Computer Literacy (sufficient to successfully navigate Intranet, Eduneering, Shop Floor Labor Reporting (when developed), and Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel)
* Ability and willingness to work and participate effectively in a team environment to maintain a safe, clean work area, to produce quality products and to improve packaging processes
* Demonstrated ability to lift fifty (50) pounds
* Legible handwriting
* Ability to read small (4 point) type (must have 20/30 corrected vision, color & peripheral)
* Ability to work 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State, and International regulations, such as cGMP, USDA, DOT, EPA, OSHA as they pertain to the employee's work
* Demonstrated knowledge of Corporate guidelines and Policies related to the employee's work
* Demonstrated knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) related to the employee's work
* Demonstrated knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS's), safety procedures, and hazardous materials procedures
* Demonstrated knowledge of team process and leadership principles
* Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate processes and theory related to the employee's work
* Demonstrated knowledge of documentation related to the employee's work
* Demonstrated knowledge of equipment as defined in Acquired Skills
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently and accurately prepare all assigned records, calculations, and documentation
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently and properly handle and dispose of hazardous waste
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to read and follow schedules, procedures, and production documents
* Demonstrated knowledge of safety precautions and procedures. Must maintain safe behavior practices
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to assist in training other employees in an area of responsibility as assigned
* Demonstrated ability provide accurate counts of WIP, finished goods, and packaging components
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently set-up and operate label center re-winder as assigned
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to set-up and operate minor packaging equipment including but not limited to weigh counting scales and tape machines
* Ability to use basic hand tools
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently maintain label integrity within the packaging operations to prevent mix-up or mislabeling
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently perform final product quality inspections
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently perform line audit to insure proper material usage
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently and accurately prepare all assigned production records and documentation
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently read and understand packaging record, demonstrated by assembling product into proper configurations
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently perform packaging assembly without mix-up or omission of components
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently clean and organize production rooms
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to independently monitor product storage criteria and maintain proper temperature
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to obtain and Maintain Forklift Certification as it relates to walkie-lifts and other non-rider lift technology
