Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, and other documents using Microsoft Word, Excel or Power Point
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence. Read and analyze same to determine their significance and plan their distribution
- Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquires
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
- Prepare agendas and coordinate arrangements for meetings and make travel arrangements as required
- Assist swine group employees with organization and execution of new hire training (schedules, materials, meeting rooms, etc.). Schedule air travel, lodging, ground transportation and meals for new employees and BI guests
- Order furniture, computer and phone equipment and office materials for new employees
- Maintain promotional materials library, e.g., filing and dating new materials, purging files of outdated materials, and searching for information as requested
- Assist in preparing presentation material for the marketing department
Qualifications
- College degree preferred with 3-5 year's related work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft products. Excellent communication and organizational skills required
- Must possess thorough knowledge of the English language to include meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
