Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related science field from accredited college or technical school
  • Five (5) years working experience in multiple maintenance/engineering fields, i.e., design, project management, validation, electronics, programming, maintenance, or an equivalent on-the-job training & experience gained by working in the industrial programming industry

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support development of Siemens Building Management System (BMS). Develop reports for GMP and operational reporting
  • Support development of automated manufacturing controls (Allen-Bradley & Wonderware). Develop reports for GMP and operational reporting
  • Manage relationships with automated control vendors for various projects
  • Assist validation group in validating automated control systems
  • Provide training and on-going support on automated control systems as they are implemented
  • Assist in preparation of contract documents for purchase and/or construction purposes. Obtain quotations based on contract documents as necessary. Prepare purchase requests as needed for project
  • Manage relationships with consulting and integration firms used in design of projects. Review design documents produced by firms to verify adherence to project scope and technical expectations
  • Review contractor drawings for adherence to project specifications. Participate in drawing review with affected departments. Review contractor as-built drawings and manuals for adherence to project specifications. Review project construction for adherence to project specifications. Generate punchlists for completion of projects
  • Coordinate project activities to minimize effect on production schedules, employee relocations, and personnel safety. Communicate project progress to affected parties and other interested groups.
  • Estimate as needed integration programming project costs for use in capital planning.
