Master's degree in nursing required with experiential learning experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required. Substantial interpersonal skills necessary to instruct patients and their families and to collaborate with health care team members. Must possess professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice and have extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology and management of acute and chronic patient/family problems. Must be able to competently perform required clinical skills. Must demonstrate quality observational and communication skills, and professional judgement.
