Expeditor
Job Location: Wichita, KS
Salary:
$27,040 - $31,200
Duties Include:
Coordinate and facilitate the flow of information, work and materials to ensure that parts are delivered to the customer on time. Contact suppliers to ensure on-time delivery or to advise of changed due dates. Communicate schedules and deadlines to all internal departments and external suppliers as needed. Monitors production schedules and expedites the flow of materials and parts through production areas. Establish business relationships with key suppliers. Resolve any delivery date issues with suppliers and vendors. Create and Maintain excel spreadsheets for tracking purposes. Physically move parts from one operation to the next. Check notebooks for incoming jobs and assign move dates. Attend daily delivery status meetings. Has authority to stop any production order for quality concerns.
Requirements:
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work comfortably and effectively in a small team environment. Must have experience tracking orders through to shipment and be able to provide prompt follow up to internal departments, customers and vendors. Experience in MS Office and intermediate Computer skills. Prefer someone who has worked in an Aerospace firm before. Must be goal oriented. High School Diploma. Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
