Accomplishes information technology results by consulting with users, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; guiding and training program super users; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Assists with the design, development, documentation, creation and testing of the TIER workflow as directed. As well as creating or changing crystal reports as needed.
Verifies application results by conducting system testing of technologies implemented.
Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues.
Maintain data integrity by using Crystal Reports to report data and follow up by making needed corrections.
Provide guidance and assist program/project super users and working with them to develop TIER training materials and procedures for each program/project and position with the support of the Information System Analyst.
Provide ongoing training of the super users and program staff as needed.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Supports and backups the IT Support Specialist with Help Desk support and weekend server maintenance.
Maintains professional knowledge through job training, self-education and educational workshops, if budget allows.
Bachelor degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Technology, or related field, or have minimum four (4) years of full-time experience in related computer system operations.
Knowledge of database relationships is required and SQL is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of computer database systems, relationships to tables.
Analytical skills Must be able to recognize the needs of the agencys internal customers/users, and create new applications and modify existing applications to answer those needs.
Ability to assist in creating new ways to approach problems and in develop innovative applications.
Communication skills to understand both technical and non-technical audiences, and to bridge the gap in communication between those audiences.
Possess good customer service skills as relates to the agencys internal customers/users in order to answer questions and fix issues.
