Supports Carilion''s hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Provides surgical and electrophysiological assistance to physicians. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Delivers quality service through a team-oriented, collaborative approach to care for adult and geriatric patients. There will be X-Ray and blood/body fluid exposure. Position includes frequent lifting and operating complex equipment.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education: Rad Tech, RCIS, RN and RCES required.
Experience: Cardiology experience preferred.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Must have valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Virginia. Must have and maintain current BLS certification. Must successfully complete BLS or ACLS within six months of hire date and maintain current status.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamworking skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position. Must be able to stand for long periods of time with lead apron. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
