Candidates must posses good leadership, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must be able to effectively budget time, work efficiently and accurately and follow procedures with minimal supervision. Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills are required. Must posses the skills to interpret medication orders and review them for safety and effectiveness. Must be a graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the ACPE. Hospital experience and or residency preferred but not required. Responsibilities include providing age specific pharmaceutical care by partnering with the interdisciplinary care team, educating, consulting, reviewing and processing orders. Provides leadership and supervision to pharmacy technicians and clerical personnel as assigned. Possible opportunities for precepting students.
