Supports Carilions hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Assists physician with direct patient care during catheterization or interventional procedures in the scrub, circulator, and monitor positions. Delivers quality service through a team-oriented, collaborative approach to care for adult and geriatric patients. Hours: Primarily M-F, 8 or 10 hour day shifts with scheduled late shifts (stay until work is done, typically 7pm). No weekends or holidays.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education:
Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (RN), with valid board licensure.
Experience: Cardiac, Sedation or ICU experience preferred. Licensure, registration and/or certification: Must have valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Virginia. Must have and maintain current BLS certification. Must successfully complete ACLS within six months of hire date and maintain current status.

Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamworking skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.
