Vehicle Maintenance Journey Technician
Job Location: Park City, Utah
Job Type: Full Time Year Round
Shift:
Day Shifts 40 hours a week. Must be able to work weekends and holidays for winter season.
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
“An experienced and competent, but undistinguished worker”
To apply experience in the automotive field to maintain and repair resort equipment, while attempting to transcend the maintenance stereotype.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) by following the Resort Etiquette Guidelines.
· Diagnose basic problems using experience, logic and reason.
· Plan and perform repairs
· Perform thorough services on Snow Cats and rolling vehicles
· Perform emergency and basic fabrication tasks
· Document all parts usage
· Document all work done on work orders
· Follow all shop safety practices and dress code.
· Maintain tools and work area
· Manage motor pool and have accountability for damage on a daily basis.
· Perform other tasks as assigned.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to Vehicle Maintenance Manager
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Exposure to inclement weather conditions.
· Heavy lifting, bending, squatting.
· Requires manual dexterity.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High School education or equivalent
· Must have moderate tool set; smaller roll-away, most hand tools, basic air and diagnostic tools, etc.
· Formal Automotive training
· 3 or more years of related experience
· Mechanical aptitude
· Ability to work outside
