Description
Experienced, Licensed, Professional Massage Therapists (Part-time positions available up to 30 hrs/wk)
To ease the stress of our daily lives, we have provided a soothing, nurturing environment with an elegant, luxurious oasis fit for pampering; found only in world-renowned resort spas.
Desire to be part of our team... Strong knowledge and ability to perform Swedish and Deep Tissue massages; other modalities applauded. Herbal Body Wraps and Salt Glow experience essential.
Schedule:
*Must be available to work variable shifts: days, evenings, weekends and holidays - part-time year– round work available up to 30 hrs / wk.
Creating Memorable Experiences:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Design specific sessions based on client's individual needs
- Promote the health and wellness benefits to guests
- Maintain an organized, clean and professional work environment - both in the room and in personal appearance.
- Create a positive experience and atmosphere for our guests
- Must be honest, trustworthy, and have a positive, professional attitude
- Engaged in all aspects of the spa business, and is able to identify and address business needs (example: restocking room, recognizing inventory levels, reordering products)
- Experienced in business promotion with the desire to grow our business
- Must exhibit exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills with guests, fellow therapists and sales staff
- Illustrate strong background in retail by consistently meeting or exceeding established sales goals
- Create accurate guest notes to enhance return guest experience
- Safeguard guest confidentiality and privacy
- Attend and participate in training meetings
Qualifying Experience:
- Two or more years working full time as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a four-diamond hotel or other high-end facility.
- Experienced with Swedish and Deep Tissue massages, knowledge of Shiatsu, Neuromuscular, Sports, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy and other physiotherapies preferred.
- Must carry a current Massage Therapy License congruent with state and local laws.
- Must pass background check.
- Must have completed at least 500 hours from a certified massage school or program.
