PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
Assist guests in checking in and out of Hotel and generally maintain appearance of Hotel lobby and entryway. Oversee Bell Staff, Shuttle Services and Ski Check at five properties. Ensure that company policies, procedures and philosophy are adhered to.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow The Resort’s etiquette guidelines.
• Oversee Bell Staff schedule weekly work assignments, assist in hiring and firing process, develop work procedures and inspection checklists.
• Monitor inventory of supplies in bell closet. Order as needed.
• Assist guests checking in or out with baggage, answering questions, making deliveries etc.
• Guides must be well versed in check in script to guide guests to room
• Guides must always abide to radio etiquette, no rude, snide, inappropriate comments or noises.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of lobby and entryway: vacuum carpets, clean windows, shovel snow, remove trash, mop floors, empty trash cans, maintain fireplace, dust, etc.
• Assist with and/or perform some routine maintenance tasks within work area.
• Assist front desk staff as needed, answer phones during busy periods; deliver messages, to guests and staff.
• Assist housekeeping staff as needed, deliver and pick up laundry, deliver towels, soap or other items to rooms.
• Monitor cleanliness of public facilities such as rest rooms, game rooms, pool area, entrances, etc. Stock with supplies as needed.
• Assist in parking cars during slow check-in and check-out periods. Back up shuttle bus driver as needed.
• Maintain a clean driveway no long term parking on the drive/ fire lane must be cleared at all times.
• Bell Carts must be neat at all times. Polished with clean carpet
• Assist in coaching staff. One on ones are required
• Weekly safety topic is required for all staff to sign off on
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Functional supervision of up to 60 employee’s. Direct supervision of up to 6 employees. Moderate supervision is received from the Assistant Front Office Manager, Rooms Division Manager, Vice President of Lodging or other senior staff member.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Standing for extended periods of time, bending heavy lifting.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school with one to two years previous related experience.
• Ability to deal with customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Ability to perform all job duties.
• Ability to learn a variety of information pertaining to the resort and the area.
• Good personal hygiene and appearance.
• Valid driver's license and Canyons Drivers License
• CDL with passenger endorsement is a plus
