Description
Winter Seasonal Position: December - April 15th
Schedule: day shift & evening shift available. Open 7 days / week including holidays, may be required.
EXPERIENCED SERVERS
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
Engage, interact and inform guests while creating a memorable and exceptional dining experience. Some outlets may require wine knowledge and experience.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow The Resort’s etiquette guidelines.
- Set tables.
- Stock service stations with supplies, beverages, condiments etc.
- Take orders for food and/or beverage and serve to customers.
- Clean and clear tables.
- Clean and neaten service stations and other work areas.
- Perform routine food preparation tasks as assigned.
- Assist with hosting duties as assigned.
- Assist bartender with drink mixing and serving.
- Stock and set up bar.
- Ensure that alcoholic beverages are not served to underage customers.
- Determine when patrons should not be served to underage customers.
- Determine when patrons should not be served additional drinks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Supervision is received from the Restaurant Manager, Beverage Supervisor, Host/Hostess, or Bartender.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School education desirable, plus one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
- Previous food service experience desirable.
- Good personal hygiene and neat appearance.
- Ability to perform job duties. Good manual dexterity.
- Ability to deal with customers courteously and efficiently, including ability to be polite but authoritative with disorderly or intoxicated patrons.
- Basic reading, writing and math skills. Clear English speaking ability in necessary.
