Job Description :
Seeking experienced IT professionals who possess strong consulting, technical, and business process knowledge to fill the PowerBuilder Programmer role in support of Government Customer.
Roles and Responsibilities Include:
• Converting PowerBuilder applications to .NET components.
• Client/Server development and ability to migrate to web enabled applications
• Maintenance and development of Power Builder on Relational Databases, i.e. coding, analysis, debugging, and documentation
• Some travel may be required
• Will be a valued member of a larger delivery team.
Required:
• US Citizen
• Active SECRET clearance
Job Requirements :
Desired Skills:
• Developer with 2-7 years experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years experience in .NET development
• 1 to 4+ years in PowerBuilder development experience
• Experience in working in a structured, development environment, using industry standard methodologies like PMBOK, CMMI, RUP, and/or ISO 9001:2000
• Experience in Rational Toolset a plus
• Knowledgeable in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
• Effective communications (verbal and written) required to interface with customer team members
Environment:
Power Builder, Oracle 9i, SQL, PL/SQL, Rational Tools (Clear Case, Clear Quest and Rational Rose etc), .Net, WebServices, Unix, Globally deployed application with user base in all continents
