Job Description :
Analyzes andDevelops specifications for moderately complex software programming applications and modifies/maintains the existing software. Develops, modifies and maintains applications that may be customized or standardized. Participates in design and coding activities with other staff members
Job Requirements :
Familiar with industry and government standards, specifically XML and WEB Services.
- GCSS-AF Experience a plus
- Relational Database analysis and implementation experience
- Ability to define architectures meeting system requirements
- Ability to monitor and lead implementation to ensure objectives of architecture are met and adherence to standards.
- Designs/codes applications following specifications on their own as well as under direction from senior staff members
- Maintains and modifies existing applications as required
- Performs custom programming at customer request
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing data architecture for product ? Performs software and system testing procedures; debugging; verification; release testing and beta support
- Test coding enhancements
- Participates in design meetings and consults with staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software
- Performs product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems
- Prepares product documentation as required / ability to translate technical solutions into documentation ? Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Required Skills:
Development experience in VB.NET, XML, C#, JAVA, and other WEB based applications.
Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 to 6 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
