Job Description:
Growing SW Ohio engineering firm has immediate need for a seasoned Commissioning Authority/Agent to lead this segment of the business. Responsible for developing commissioning scope and test details and coordinating the commissioning process, including documentation of system verification checks and system start up. Carry out and document functional performance tests and train appropriate client staff and submit final commissioning report.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relate discipline
- Minimum of 7 years hands on commissioning experience including field testing and reporting
- Systems design – HVAC
- Knowledge of electrical systems and interface with HVAC
- Comfortable on job site interacting with contractor and subs
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to facilitate meetings with client, contractors, subs, etc.
- Need to be viewed as credible by contractors, sub-contractors, engineers, architect and client
