Environmental Specialist
Job Location: Tulsa, OK
Job Summary:
CETCON, Combustion and Environmental Testing Consultants, and a leader in the specialized field of air quality testing, combustion consulting and fired heater operator training has an immediate opening available for an Environmental Specialist. This is an outstanding opportunity to learn a specialized trade in the growing environmental air testing industry with an excellent opportunity for advancement while working for consultants who are recognized throughout the industry. Candidate will be part of a team of environmental professionals that conduct air emission testing on sources located at refineries, natural gas transportation facilities, electric utilities, pulp & paper mills as well as many other chemical related and manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications:
This is an entry-level position. The candidate must have the ability to work at various elevated heights in adverse weather conditions, assist team members with repairing field related equipment and become proficient with the preparation of the mobile testing laboratory. The candidate should be mechanically inclined and have some experience with computers and associated software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. * Able to pass drug test and physical.

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Substantial overnight travel and field work is required. Company is based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma with the majority of the work performed in a 500-mile radius of Tulsa. Chemistry, mechanical, instrumentation or combustion related experience and/or education is also desirable but not required.
