Job Description:
The Meadowlands Regional Chamber is a respected business service organization that accelerates economic, community and business development by providing networking & relationship building; destination & tourism marketing; business education and leadership training; legislative and public affairs advocacy, and workforce development to businesses of all sizes all across industry sectors. MRC assists its member businesses by being a conduit of information and providing real-time business intelligence & referral services as well as cost saving value added member benefits.
Currently, MRC has an opportunity for a Member Services Coordinator to provide ongoing member services and support while assisting in the innovation of value added deliverables to members and the creation of incentives to convert potential members. Potential candidate must have a positive attitude, a high level of customer service and a willingness and ability to deal with a broad range of member personalities, attitudes and problems on a daily basis.
Candidate must also have 1-2 years experience in customer service, hospitality, sales administrative support, or office support, Experience with CRM software or member database program, Strong interpersonal, administrative, customer service, follow up, and communication skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Some responsibilities include:
- Develop marketing strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Strategize, develop and test new benefits for members.
- Promptly address any member complaints.
- Communicate with membership, career center users, sponsors and advertisers through surveys and other means in order to continuously improve service.
- Responsible for all monthly membership reports and custom report creation.
- Continuously improve reporting and renewal processes.
