Job Location: Pittsburg, KS
Job Description:
Plans, manages, and directs the operations and services of the city water and wastewater treatment systems, storm water and other related operations of the City of Pittsburg. Develops long range strategic plans, plans and evaluates utility operations and programs, including water, wastewater and storm water. Ensures compliance with regulatory agency standards and operational and maintenance requirements as well as establishing department priorities Monitors the department's performance, advises management and participates in planning for current and future capacity needs, plant and system modifications for increased efficiency or regulatory compliance.
Requires degree in engineering, public administration, environmental science or related field, water/wastewater certification and 10 years
related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Requires valid driver's license, subject to
background check and pre-employment drug screening.
