Job Location: Chicago, IL
Description:
STS is currently offering an exciting career opportunity for a project to senior project engineer for oversight of construction materials testing and inspection services on a wide range of commercial and institutional projects in our Chicago area offices.
The position requires a strong blend of field and materials engineering; ability to communicate effectively with our field staff and clients; ensure project quality control; and is responsible for profit and loss of assigned projects. The successful candidate will be managing projects with testing and inspection budgets between $50,000 and $1,000,000 in value, writing proposals and enhancing customer relationships by providing best in class service. Candidate must have an Illinois PE and a minimum of 5 years experience managing projects, strong verbal and written communication skills as well as documentation skills.
