Structural Engineer (Sr PE level)
Job Location: Peoria & Vernon Hills, IL /Green Bay, WI

Midwest based consulting engineering firm specializing in engineering, design and site development, including existing structure evaluation and rehabilitation. Responsibilities:
Vary by project and location and may include:
* Evaluation of structural deterioration (concrete, wood, steel, etc) and remediation
* Oversight of non-destructive evaluation (NDE) and testing
* Calculations, design and specification preparation
* Temporary excavation support - working with STS Geotechnical foundation engineers
* Industrial, commercial structure evaluation and remediation - allowing continuous operations during remediation
Requirements:
Senior Project level:
* 6 or more years experience
* Master's degree a plus
* P.E. license (S.E. preferred) or on track for licensure
* Project management skills, including proposal preparation
* Staff development and management abilities
* Occasional travel; driving to/from job sites
* Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software)
* Critical thinking and analysis
* Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools
* Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
