Job Location: Illinois / Wisconsin / Michigan
Summary:
For Assistant Project, Project and Senior Project Geotechnical Engineers in varied locations (Chicago suburb, Vernon Hills; Green Bay, WI; Lower Michigan).

Responsibilities:
Vary by project and location and may include:
* Soil and material testing and monitoring
* Lab analysis
* Modeling
* Foundation / Field construction monitoring
* Planning and managing subsurface exploration
* Seepage and slope stability analysis
Requirements:
Assistant project level:
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience:
* Summarizing test data
* Preparing boring logs for CAD processing
* Analysis (slope stability analysis, vertical and lateral load analysis on deep foundations)
* Retention system analysis and design
Project level:
* 6 or more years of direct experience in 1 or more of: shallow/deep foundations, rock and soil slope stability, hydrogeology, geosynthetics
* Bachelor's degree, Geotechnical Engineering
* P.E. license (or on track for license)
Senior Project level:
* 10 or more years of direct experience in 1 or more of the above
* Master's degree, Geotechnical Engineering
* P.E. license
* Project management skills
* Staff development and management abilities
Requires:
* Occasional travel; driving to/from job sites
* Geotechnical problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of MathCAD)
* Critical thinking and analysis
* Knowledge of current modeling software tools
* Excellent verbal communication and report writing skills, including technical writing
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
