PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
Serves as the liaison between Coleman Company and the company’s top customer operations departments such as inventory planning, operations, customer service and logistics departments. The focus of the position is to ensure order cycle and supply chain excellence/efficiency between Coleman and the Customer.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Track & maintain monthly forecast vs. demand at Coleman. Review issues with sales team on a regular basis.
Maintain Wal-Mart CPFR promo screens, adjust/NIFE WM FCST vs. CLMN FCST, tweak WM system to flow replenishment. Responsible for promotional/event order entry tracking and new store opening reporting.
Identify product delay. Secure allocation and forecast quantities from production through monitoring and oversight of inventory systems. Work directly with marketing, supply chain & product managers to help resolve problems. Participate in launching, reporting dates and tracking new products
Point person for WM Replenishment Manager to contact regarding product availability, recommendation of Seasonal and Hurricane Strategies, and DC Reserves going in and out of season for Coleman items. Analyze POS data to identify sales trends and ¿gaps for product listings and make recommendation to resolve the gaps identified. Communicates sales trends/gaps and recommends order strategies to the team and Wal-Mart.
Point person for WM Replenishment Mgr to manage DC inventory to ensure ¿NO DC Outs¿. Person is to ensure 100% DC in stock at all times and recommend DC inventory transfers when needed. The person is to provide weekly report of any out of stock and production issues by item and DC.
Point person for customer service in resolving all purchase order related issues including, but not limited to product allocation, order cancellation, order extension, shipment error returns, carrier, trailer overflow, and MABD issues. Manage ¿special situations with customers, i.e. consignment warehouse shipping, direct-to-store orders, etc.
Identify and assist in resolving logistical issues among shipping locations, carriers, WM warehouses/Centerpoints, WM Replenishment Managers, and buyers to ensure planned arrival of product. Assist and facilitate Coleman Transportation with WM Transportation and WM Warehouse Administration correspondences where appropriate. Point person for WM Transportation regarding trailer drop and trailer pick-up questions. Analyze and utilize promotional schedules, seasonal builds and replenishment cycles to provide quarterly ¿Drop Trailer Need FCST to WM and Coleman Transportation to smooth purchase order flows and minimize drop trailer issues in season.
Point person for WM Disaster EOC and WM Replenishment Manager for Disaster/Hurricane/Power Outages preparedness and order generations. On call 24/7 during Hurricane Season Jun 1-Nov 30. This person is Coleman’s first contact for Wal-Mart.
Responsible for order-cycle management. Analyze lead-times and all relevant components from ¿Supplier Matrix and scorecards to improve service level to WM.
Responsible for all Warehouse Replenishment Reports required by WM Replenishment Managers. Weekly SWAS Report, MABD (Must Arrive By Date) by Sequence Report, MABD by DC report, Fill Rate and MABD by Item and Buyer Report, Co-Manage Stats by Sequence Number Report, Warehouse Inventory Report, COE (Correction of Error) Report, Strategy Tracking Report, STRI and PNEW Script writing for warehouse. Generate and utilize system tools for reporting. (SAP/Flex Planning, Retail Link).
Assist Sr. Director of Sales Operation and Finance in maintaining Data Sync and RFID database at Coleman and in WM Retail Link. Generate and analyze RFID Life Cycle Reports.
Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
All other projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, preferred
Systems literacy required, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, WM Retail Link, SAP and PowerPoint.
Significant organizational skills, as well as a good understanding of the supply chain process
Strong knowledge of inventory management and customer service
Good communication and interpersonal skills are imperative
Must be self-directed and motivated
Must be accurate, detail-oriented and have demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Able to perform multi-tasks in a fast paced environment
Ability to travel as necessary
Minimum of 2 years vendor team experience required.
