Position Summary:
Summary of Job Function
The primary responsibility of this position will be to perform all facets of electrical equipment maintenance and general maintenance in the facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnostic troubleshooting; installing, maintaining, repairing, testing and replacing electrical equipment.
- Testing and adjusting equipment to obtain proper operating characteristics.
- Rewiring and installing panel boards and switches.
- Repairing AC/DC circuits, 3-phase circuits (480 and 240 volt), 120 volt AC control.
- 12VDC/24/VDC control systems
- Installation and troubleshooting PLC’s and machine control circuits.
- Schematic interpretation
- Other duties as assigned.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems as required.
Requirements
Skills and Experience Required
- 3-5 years electrical experience
- Prefer 1-2 years experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems
- Must have a strong understanding of mechanical components and how they work in conjunction with electrical and hydraulics systems
- Must be able to work a weekend schedule.
- Lifting or carrying less than 50 pounds
- Analog signaling,
- AC/DC drive installation/troubleshooting/repair, temperature control skills
- Hydraulic and pneumatic applications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Temperature controls; strong motor control skills
- Ability to recognize problems before issues arise
- Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- High analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must have experience maintaining high level of activity working with several projects simultaneously.
- Exposure to 45-120 degrees temperatures, exposure to propane, noise that requires hearing protection, air powered tools, hand tools, electrical equipment
