Medical Technologist - Night Shift

This job reports to the Technical Manager - Night Shift

Relocation is negotiable and travel is not required.

This is a Full-Time position, working 3rd Shift.

Overview
This is a full-time (80 hours / pay) 3rd shift position; scheduled work hours are 11pm - 7:30am Monday night through Friday night with NO weekends or holidays.

The Medical Technologists on our Night Shift are responsible for following department policies and procedures as they:

1. Accurately and Efficiently perform and report patient testing in the areas of chemistry, hematology and toxicology

2. Recognize problems with instruments, reagents, test results and/or supplies and initiate problem solving procedures.

3. Address client-related questions and problems in a courteous and efficient manner.

Each night, our technologists work together to analyze 600 CBCs and 1000 Chemistries from patients throughout the Greater Dayton area.


Job Skills/Requirements
Bachelors or Associates degree in Medical Technology (Clinical Laboratory Science) with ASCP certification.
