3920BR Steel Follow-up/Logistics Analyst Grand Island NE - Nebraska Logistics Salaried Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Steel Inventory counts, tracking, usage and ordering - check and order as needed 3 times per week. Count once per month 2. Purchase parts for warehouse stocked parts - on Mondays - expedite report - follow up to make sure happens so can react as needed. 3. Subcontracted parts - release orders and mitigate for drop ins/ stock losses - weekly. Orders 2 weeks out 4. Order steel for subcontract suppliers - weekly 5. Verify incoming steel receipts and reconcile to ensure receiving is accurate 6. Verifying packing slips vs receipts at suppliers. Issue steel to orders previously sent to them 7. Order service parts out as required based on service demand 8. Post packing slips to suppliers on excel spreadsheets and verify with receipts 9. Change orders based on receipts - adjust up or down based on receipts vs consumption projections 10. Close work orders as appropriate 11. Resolve trucking issues as appropriate, expedite loads, verify truck schedules etc 12. Establish new PO`s as needed for changing suppliers 13. Order releases for work order orders as appropriate - internal and subcontract Core Skills needed 1. Computer skills, preferably strong MS Excel, MS Access, ability to navigate internet based portals. Also, demonstrated aptitude to learn and master mainframe systems. 2. Strong telephone communication skills and demonstrated assertiveness as needed 3. Strong auditing skills and attention to detail 4. Demonstrated strong organization and job prioritization skills 1.
