Job Location: WASHINGTON, DC
Position summary:
Multi-discipline Security Specialists will provide assistance in planning, developing, reviewing and implementing a wide range of support services in areas such as: security policy, security clearance processing, and security awareness and training with the Defense of Intelligence Agency (DIA) to include, but not limited to, the following:

Tasks:

  • Support the Government team leads, as directed by the Project Manager, in the timely and accurate accomplishment of tasks directly associate with the primary security function of the office where assigned.
  • Perform other security related functions, as directed by the Project Manager, to meet mission requirements; such as during a mission surge or periods of employee absences.
  • Work with and in one or more of a variety of security disciplines to include:
    • Classification marking and declassification review
    • Continuity of operations (COOP)
    • Counterintelligence; credibility assessment
    • Force protection and foreign intelligence
    • Foreign travel and disclosure
    • Identification badge processing and industrial security
    • Information security and personnel security
    • Investigations
    • Operations security
    • Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation and management
    • Security policy, strategy and programs
    • Special Access Program (SAP) administration; security briefings/debriefings, threat management and mitigation.
    • Security briefing/debriefings, threat management and mitigation.
  • Attendance and punctuality are critical to this position.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor degree is preferred, with 3 years of experience and the minimum of 2 years performed successfully in a Security Specialist role; preferably within the Department of Defense (DoD), a Combatant Command (CCMD) or other Intelligence Community 9IC) agency. Be proficient and have demonstrated experience in the use of the following hardware and software: standard office equipment (telephones, fax machines, printers, scanners etc.) Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Security Clearance: Position requires a Top Secret /SCI Clearance. Employee must maintain clearance eligibility at the level required by the contract throughout employment.
