This position will be working with a solid IS team dedicated to providing quality product and accurate data. MAJOR DUTIES:
Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems
Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to the user environment
Analyze, design, install, configure and maintain Windows server architecture
Analyze, design, install, configure and maintain Windows desktop architecture
Analyze, design, install, configure and maintain peripheral device architecture including, but not limited to, printers, scanners, and specialized testing equipment
Windows Active Directory design and administration
Data backup and restoration design and administration
Storage system design and administration
Analyze, design, recommend and deploy other systems and software packages as needed - including the preparation of cost-benefit and return-on-investment analysis to aid in decisions on system implementation
Actively Participate in User Desktop Support functions as secondary responsibility
Perform all defined responsibilities in the support of local and remote offices
Participate in 24 hr on-call support rotation
Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles SHORT AND LONG TERM GOALS:
Deploy Active Directory on Windows 2008 Server Domain
Deploy Storage Solution Upgrades
Complete tasks as assigned according to responsibilities
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in IT-related field and related experience
5-10 yearsm working with Windows Administration including: o Active Directory, o Networking, o Internet Technologies, o Microsoft Office, o Peripheral Devices, o Storage Technologies, o Backup Technologies Consumer Testing Labs offers a competitive compensation package, a solid benefit package, vacation, paid holidays, and a 401K with a 6% match.
