JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading, supervising and directing the planning of manufacturing, administration, safety, budget, compliance, inventory for the plant.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead, supervise and direct the planning of manufacturing, transportation, administrative functions, OSHA and safety compliance, budget development and management, inventory management, among other responsibilities for the New Plant operations, to efficiently and effectively operate while staying within budgetary limits. Maintain positive employee relations and support our CSMI Mission and Values. Recruit and hire employees as needed. Identify the developmental needs of employees and ensure they have proper coaching, mentoring and training.

Responsible for budgeting and planning to achieve desired results. Measurables include, but are not limiited to: expenses, RMAs, customer satisfication scores, talent development, process improvement, capital budgeting planning and implementation, ROA score, gross margin and profits of CSMI. Promotes positive relations with both internal and external customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Four Year College Degree or equivalent of education and experience
  • At least 4 years of operation management experience is preferred
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and other relavant company and industry data as needed to plan, solve problems and achieve objectives
  • Effective writing and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated support of company values and mission statement
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges, lead and direct
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer skills required specifically, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing as well as communication of these ideas verbally.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Directly or indirectly supervises all production, transportation and administration managers at the Lowell facility. Carries out all supervisory responsibility in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving performance issues up to and including termination of employment.

VACATION/PERSONAL DAY POLICY
One personal day will be accrued on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st after 90 days of full-time employment.

MEDICAL & DENTAL INSURANCE
Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance on the first day of the month following 30 days of full-time employment.

CAFETERIA PLAN
A cafeteria plan exists enabling employees to pay insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars. In addition, a medical savings account and childcare account are available within the cafeteria plan.

EMPLOYEE STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN (E.S.O.P.)
CSMI is an employee owned company and employees receive stock allocations based on a percentage of wages in years they qualify based on the details of the plan.

401(k)
A 401(k) plan is in place for all employees who want to participate. The company will match 100% of the first 4% of wages the employee contributes to 401(k). An employee is eligible to enter the plan at the beginning of each quarter after the 90-day probationary period. Vesting in the company contribution is over a period of six years in which the participant works at least 1,000 hours per year. The employee is always 100% vested in his own contributions.

EDUCATION ASSISTANCE
At CSMI, we recognize that our employees’ skills and knowledge are critical to the success of our company. Therefore, we created our educational assistance program to encourage employees to maintain and improve their job-related skills through formal education. Our educational assistance program is available to all full-time employees who have completed 90 calendar days of service and meet the guidelines of our Education Assistance Policy. The maximum annual payable benefit through this program is $5,250.00 per eligible employee.
