Crawford & Company, Inc. seeks Lead Software Engineer.  Job located in Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 to design, code, test, debug & document complex software systems programming applications. Supervise & monitor the design, code, test, debug & document of complex software systems programming applications of junior software engineers. Review & oversee improvements in the design. Make complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations. Design and develop complex programs to fit specialized needs & configurations. Inform & guide other systems analysts, engineers, programmers & others to design system, to obtain information on project limitations & capabilities, performance requirements & interfaces. Supervise junior software engineers in the maintenance of program libraries and technical documentation. Plan, schedule, & implement software development. Consult with users concerning maintenance of the software system & supervise junior software engineers concerning maintenance of the software system. Consult with business analysts, project managers & other stake holders in the development of new software & supervise junior developers in their consultations with stakeholders. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or foreign degree equivalent + 2 yrs. exp. In job offered, or related. Required skills: Oracle/Java/NET. Or in the alternative no degree & 4 yrs. of exp. In job offered or related. Any suitable combination of exp. Of education, training, or exp. Is acceptable.
