GUI Programmer
Job Location: Hutchinson, KS
Job Summary:
GUI Programmers are responsible for the overall application programming process of DCI's financial data processing products in client-server and web-based system environments by accurately and efficiently writing and maintaining new and existing programs, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging program logic and writing program documentation using methodology and programming standards established by the GUI/Web Services Department. GUI Programmers are also accountable for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting assigned applications, assisting in the design of new and existing DCI programs and systems, and providing implementation and programming support to Customer Services and Implementations during conversions and application installations.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree, and/or One to three years programming experience. Development and support skills in the Microsoft Windows and Unix system environments. Development and support skills in Graphical User Interface languages with a strong focus on Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft ASP.NET. General knowledge of web-based systems and structures including HTTP, XML, and Javascript is preferred.
