Summary:
Position is responsible for providing product knowledge and support for customer base and Independent Sales Agents.
Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Communicating with established as well as potential new customers by phone.
- Quoting prices and preparing sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Estimating date of delivery to customer, based on delivery schedules and lead times provided by Customer Service Manager.
- Entering orders taken by phone, fax, or mail into computer system.
- Offering resolutions to customer complaints.
- Offering technical assistance to customers.
- Faxing documents to customers as requested (literature, invoices, credit applications, etc.)
- Supporting Independent Sales Agents by answering questions and providing product samples.
- Occasionally meeting with walk-in customers and demonstrating products using samples and catalog.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking capability is a must.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is not required but preferred. One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
