Summer Help – Production

Job Description:
Capital Safety is currently accepting applications for summer help.
We have openings in the following departments and shifts:
1st & 2nd Shifts
Shipping:
- Assembles cartons.
- Reads shipping order to determine items to be packed for shipment.
- Obtains correct amount, style and/or size of product from warehouse shelves or other location.
- Inserts product into containers. Closes and seals containers. Labels containers, container tags, or products.
- Places packed and sealed cartons on pallets for shipment.
- Conveys materials and items to and from warehouse shelves; rotates stock as needed.
- Keeps warehouse bays and shipping area clean - removes empty boxes and trash.
- Process and review orders to be shipped UPS
Belt Room:
- Assemble components of harnesses per work order and/or blueprint.
- Sew components as designed by using auto and manual sewing machines.
- Cut slots in webbing for buckles when appropriate.
- Position and sew labels in predetermined area on harness.
Metal Fabrication:
- Perform light metal fabrication as needed.
- Assist in light assembly functions.
- Package finished goods as directed.
- Operate various machining equipment as required
- Other duties may be assigned
